“The luncheon on the grass” after Edouard Manet

Condition/Treatment
Inappropriate mounting materials caused light and acid damages that affected the illustration severely. Treatment included dry cleaning and deacidification. Usual intention became visible after slight bleaching. Creases were stabilized with Japanese paper.
