Before treatment Due to the degradation of the filling material deformations occured. The filling material was replaced and the original form restored.
The degraded foam was replaced by a new age resistant material to restore the original shape.
After opening the backside the degraded foam layer becomes visible.
Condition before treatment: The degradation of the foam has altered the appearance of the piece considerably. The originally tight surface is collapsed and deformed.
